Wow, those Ace Combat builds are so neatly painted! Puts my work to shame, haha. Love them, especially the Char Aznable themed Typhoon as well.

Agreed!  This kid has skills. Might be better than me at building and I'm probably double or more his age.  ;D  And, it's always nice finding the physical Ace Combat builds. ...... AND... kids building!

I have 2 or 3 Ace Combat kits in my stash and am looking forward to building them. I hope they come out as well! Aside from the actual kit planes, I've built one "what-if" Ace Combat plane, a Ustio P-51B. One of the kits (Espada Draken or Shinden II, I can't remember) Came with a sheet of transfers that had a bunch of extras to make other ace combat planes and a bunch of random Ace Combat nation transfers so there are enough to make a couple actual Ace Combat planes and a couple "imaginary" ones to boot, not to mention the actual stuff for the kit itself!  Can't beat it... all the "extras" makes those kits worthwhile for sure. Love me some Hasegawa!  I also dig their Area 88 stuff that they've been pumping out.

"My wife bought me this kit from a second hand store and I discovered that parts and decals were missing so, rather than bin it or shelf it I decided to improvise on it.hope you like it."

Reminds me of one of the Assembly Ships.

I used to work with a Mike Manley.  He was tall and sort of loomed over you.  Reminded me a bit of Herman Munster.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Perfect name, then!! And yes, I was thinking the same, Rick.....      One of these days I'm going to try to build one of them formation birds.

As a side note, this thing here was nearly pre-war army colors. lol

No real information other than it was photographed at a recent IPMS thing in Houston:

I can tell it's a paper model, though. Pretty neat!

"Finished a few for Spring! One is the GeeBee Z which I changed into a BeeGeeBee in 1/72 (kit by Amodel) and the other is a lazing tiger snorting flowers and catching some shade under a "distorted" P-40 (kit is by, ironically, TIGER MODELS!)....had great fun with both....BeeGeeBee is hand over painted with insectoid "sparkles" added along with eyes and hand painted "wings"....P-40 and tiger are hand painted as well. The flowers for the P-40 are from a new extensive line on eBay which you can easily find there...great products! I actually found the tiger IN its position on line! Diorama gods were smiling on that project! Enjoy and Happy Spring!"

Dudes nearly as bad as I am with the camera but nevertheless, we have something to look at at least! Someone get Ericr in here again...  ;D
