Hmmm, it seems the 'Rules People' where he is have the same attitude to Whiffs as they do here in the UK.

There's only one Whiff class, all scales, all standards, all types etc.

No imagination, some people.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

It is funny, in a tragic sort of way, but the IPMS UK rules for judging dioramas used to state that they should be viewed from a distance of 3 feet.
This appears to have vanished in the dim and distance  of passing time.
I mention this as some years ago I witnessed a judge of the diorama classes, at a show that I will not identify, nor will I identify the particular judge in question,  pick up a model that was part of the diorama to check the underside.
I was shocked at this as I knew what the IPMS UK rules for judges stated.
The next time I saw the Competition secretary at SMW and asked him about this, he was unable to give any reply.
It would appear that the IPMS UK rules for judging, all classes, have "conveniently" vanished into the mists of time.

Alle kunst ist umsunst wenn ein engel auf das zundloch brunzt!!

Sic biscuitus disintegratum!

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

The mistake Pete made was choosing a subject for his hypothetical paint scheme which was obviously hypothetical.
You have to be subtle.  Faking your reference material can also help. ;D

A few years ago at Model Expo there was a diorama which was moved out of the military diorama class into Diorama: Other because "it didn't have a military subject".
It was a jungle scene.  The judge or scrutineer in question obviously didn't look too hard because there were three or four very well camouflaged figures hidden in it.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That man should receive an award for de-uglifying the F-35!

Never seen one looks so good, right?! I'm totally on board with it and want to make one of my own now.

By Frank Campey
found on the Facebook Scale Modellers page.

"Hawker Sea Fury F.B 11, No.1 Sqdn, Irish Air Corps 1951.
This is a "what-if" build using the P.M Models 1/72 Kit.
Maybe the Irish Air Corps might have considered the Sea Fury as a short term replacement for their ageing Seafires in the early 1950's."

The color of green really appeals. I think it makes the build! This is very neat.

I like that too. I can just see a flight of them lifting off from Baldonnell.

My thoughts as well

Could they have Hawker Sea Hawks after those ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Why not? The German Navy had some and they didn't have a carrier.

An all-green Sea Hawk should look interesting...
