I can't verify that these were made by who posted them, but the first one was posted by John Payne and the second one posted by Damien Keith Maynard.

B-51 what ifs.

First one today was an Ace Combat plane, and so is this one.

The 2nd B-51 is a "B-51G Panther "Tropic Moon III"" build by Trickyrich is 2015.

For those on BTS, the build thread can be found here: http://beyondthesprues.com/Forum/index.php?topic=5615.75

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

These small canards don't look half-bad on the Eagle.  The other wing mods are nice  as well, but the canards especially so.
Cheers,

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Amazing painting of a what-if by Antonis Karydis, in the Aviation Art group.  Zero from Kingdom of Hawaii puppet state established after Japanese invasion.

The pilot would have to be of the ruling line of ali'i
to have the scarlet and gold tail markings, either
that or the squadron would be a Royal Guards unit.
The cowl emblem doesn't look much like an Hawai'ian
"tiki". In the Kona style the eyes should be shaped like
a comma laid on its side with the point down.
Intriguing concept, although Japanese markings would
be more likely as the very large Japanese population,
the largest single ethnic group in the Islands at the
time, and the politicians in Japan would most likely have
treated the Islands as a province.
The book Hawaii Under the Rising Sun, is an excellent
look at the various Japanese plans for an occupied Hawai'i.

Agree totally Jon. Been there a good few times (my second favourite place to visit) and the possibilities for an alternative history of the place from "say" the 1850's onwards are fascinating. Fantastic piece of artwork however
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Harry Turtledove wrote an alternative-history novel about the aftermath of Pearl Harbor that was interesting. I think Newt Gingrich did too, and there might be a couple of others.
