Yes indeed. I figured it was one of Tophe's designs transformed into 1/48 scale.

Brad, I thought I had a pic of the BEA 727 fuselage, but can't find it. I'll dig the models out and see what still needs to be done.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Oh! Thanks!  I'm over thinking of the "analog" like as in "something just like a thing it represents" or whatever.  I was being too literal :banghead: ;D  .  How cool is that?!  Now that I've learned of it, I'm going to have to build one.....

There's even an 1:72 ModelSvit kit of the "MiG Analog" available (actually two, because there were different wing/LERX shapes during the test phase).

Both are on my "impulsively buy them if I see them in the flesh, but other wise it's OK not to have them" list.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Tophe

Yes, wonderful Lightning, I must draw it (with my usual angle) to add it to my collection, with 2 missing links probably... Thanks for this great discovery!
(and thanks to ericr that rung my bell to make me come here and enjoy)

Not sure what this is all about but it would appear that the Bunny Fighter is some sort of creation by Eduard. They have a club (I guess for discounts and the like) and they even made a short video about it. Check it out:

So any how, this guy modelled it.

That Czech Tu-154 in the background looks interesting as well, I like how he did the reverser buckets!

At first, he didn't say, but when asked:

"There is an actual Firefox (movie version) resin kit that you can find on eBay periodically. I built this one up using 4 kits, main fuselage was Hasegawa YF-19, wings and additional intake trunking were from a Saab Gripen, the conformal fuel tanks came from an F-15 Eagle and the twin tails came from a MiG 29 kit."

"VF 11D in 1/72 scale. The inspiration totally came from a photo of someone else's model I found on Google. But, I liked it so much, I had to make one for myself. Kudos to the creative one out there in cyber world!

If you look close, I made a mistake on the canopy. I fogged/marred it slightly with the glue. So, my solution was to create a yellow accent stripe just inside the black canopy frame. Can't see the mistake now!"
