OK, that's it, 1/72 Blackbird going on my want list.

Love it.
I assume the props on the rear engines are the right way round.  It's hard to make out.   ;D

No, no, no - those are for braking.  ;)  You know, because no drag-chute or thrust-reversers.   :D

Well that Blackbird would fit into at least two of the suggestions for the next GB season :-

Either changes in the means of propulsion or no jet engines.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Does it have anything to do with the playground behind it?

Probably.  I belong to a humor/meme page on the Book of Faces called "Well Owl Be Damned".  One of their mods shared it originally, sans any context.

"Another mediocre model. This is a "what if" conversion. I used a 1/96 scale PM F-4E Phantom II to make a 1/72 scale fighter. I moved the wings aft and made the tailplanes into canards. The aft fuselage was reshaped to fit a single engine. And a new single seat cockpit and canopy were added. The kit came with markings for the Turkish AF and I used these. As can be seen it is about 3/4 the size of a standard 1/72 F-4 and similar in size to a 1/72 F-16."

You beat me to it. I was planning to post this today. But have been busy. Had the local IPMS club over for a party this evening. It's always nice to see the other guys wives and families. And discuss modeling over a glass of whisky.

I'll get a couple more pics up shortly.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.
