Having seen a pair of B-1B's flying very fast at low level on the Monday after the Abbotsford Airshow as they were putting on an after show demo while leaving for home base, of note was the huge shock cone (visually amplified by the very humid weather) that comes off the wing and fuselage, I wonder just what effect that would have on the biplane B-1 wings -----

Here's an information-less thing I saw on the 'book not too long ago. Looks like some reasonably well done photo-manip of something or other with elements of other something or others. Pretty neat looking if you ax me!

This pic has been around for a while now. Its some pretty good photoshop work. Take the SU-22 and add a Phantom nose and some Skyhawk style intakes. I might just build it one of these days.

What's that wee doodad sticking up atop the aft cockpit?  I've never seen that before.

Perhaps a periscope so the GiB can see what's going on in front?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Yes, it's a retractable periscope. You can see its counterpart hanging down at 45° in the canopy.
