An early B-24 in a similar scheme would be good too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

It would require the cash strapped Air Corps of the period to not issue the directive
that all-metal construction tactical aircraft be bare metal rather than painted. Which
is why the P-35, P-36, B-18 etc. were all unpainted. The reasons for dropping the paint
were entirely economic. The Air Corps started accepting unpainted tactical aircraft in
1937 and the official order came out in March 1938.

Previously blue-yellow painted aircraft were stripped of the paint when in for major
rework, most often refinished with a thin coat of aluminized paint.

I do like that Klingon D VII. Now who will do a Federation Camel, SE.5a or SPAD ?  ;)

So do I!  Add to the list a Romulan Eindecker or even a Vulcan Handley Page O/100, please.

And a Borg Zeppelin.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I like it. I guess it is supposed to be a pusher? A shame that the wings were not revered.  :-\
Agree with you. Especially after the outer parts of the wings and the "canards" are correct for a pusher.

The Borg zepplin would have to  fly either sideways or up ended, just to be Borg

Interesting combination! Nice photo shop work. I really need some P-38 kits. So many whiff possibilities.

And here was me thinking it was purely in order to gain that extra percentage on top speed. You learn something new every day

Do you know why the existing aircraft were stripped Jon ? Was it simply to keep the fleet looking the same or for cheaper maintenance ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I'd lean more towards cost cutting, so cheaper maintenance

Yup, that's the way my thoughts are inclined as well, but when confronted by the military mind one never knows  ;)

Apparently this isn't photoshopped and it is a Spitfire. A secret project, apparently. What do you think?

I think it is absolutely photoshopped (for a number of reasons I shall not go into) but I also think it's bloody brilliant! ;D

Yeah, someone who knows how to do photoshop, but no idea on the workings of an aircraft. Example right here, only has radiators for one engine  :o
