Apparently this isn't photoshopped and it is a Spitfire. A secret project, apparently. What do you think?

I think it is absolutely photoshopped (for a number of reasons I shall not go into) but I also think it's bloody brilliant!

Hawker Typhoon Preservation Group has been doing a weekly (?) blatant tongue in cheek misidentification post on Facebook. A photoshop job is clearly another twist of that. Those seem to get more attention than their serious posts.

Yeah, someone who knows how to do photoshop, but no idea on the workings of an aircraft. Example right here, only has radiators for one engine 

And it would have needed a GINORMOUS rudder to counter the torque of THREE Griffons on take-off!

And not that I was thinking of him in particular, but wouldn't it be great to see Dizzy's version of this, logically built with a superb backstory as well

Why not extend the power eggs on the wings into booms, like a Tri-stang, P-38, P-61, F-82, etc.?  It'll also give you room for your radiators, landing gear, and whatnot

I'd leave her how she is but add leading-edge radiators & contra-props, maybe give her more Mosquito-esque nacelles.

That scoop is the air intake filter housing Guy, but you're right, the outer engines definitely need those.

Some bigger TIE wings (or a smaller B-2) would have looked better, IMHO, but the concept as such works.

The Miles M26
Begun in 1938, the X series of designs was Miles designation M.26, covering a wide range of aircraft designs from small feeder-liners to very large 8-engined transatlantic transports. To investigate the design philosophy of the blended wing/body Miles was given a contract to design and build a sub-scale flying model of the X.9 design, which emerged as the M.30 X-Minor. The small size of the X Minor made it impossible to follow the buried engine design exactly; the engines were too large and had to be mounted externally, resulting in an aircraft similar in layout but differing in aerodynamics. The X Minor first flew in February 1942, providing Miles with useful data for several years. A larger scale prototype of the X transport was planned but never built. (wikipedia)
