Blue's Bucc.  Is there a build thread running?

No, it pre-dates me joining the Forum, which means I started it in 2005 or thereabouts!

I did one back in the 70s but some ratbag stole it from a show and I just had to do another. I'll start a late thread on it when the crisis is over.

I like it, but then start pondering the 'practicalities'

If it was a real aircraft, was this the prototype, as (with the Me-262)it has a tail-wheel, considering the work on the nose and the wings, it's would've been relatively easy to Photoshop?

Wing guns are a little superfluous, or maybe the aim is overkill!

I wonder how well the Spitfire wing would've done? Didn't it perform pretty well at relative high (for the era) mach numbers?

I do like it though  ;D

Looking at it, I've a feeling it could work, especially if it was a developed Type 313 that was offered to the same spec a the Whirlwind...

Swear I've seen that Jet Spitfire in plastic somewhere ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

It certainly does, but yours is more practical as it has a nosewheel.

That's the one we were looking for!  ;D As I said, the photoshopped one must be the prototype, like the prototype Me262s it had a tail-wheel.

Interesting to see the differences in positioning of the cockpit - the trailing edge photoshopped one v the central over the wing model  <_<
Oh to be whiffing again :-(

I've seen the one with the chin intake before but not the version with the Bristol 188 style engine pods. They look so different, but so good

They both  look  brilliant.  I  would  definitely  like  to have both of those in my alternative  cold war RAF aircraft  builds
