That's what I was thinking.. or trying to score some money! Not by selling it, but from the Air Force. They might be feeling "obligated" to give the person a stipend for the "return of the part" but in reality it's hush money or gratitude for it not causing damage or hitting someone.  ;D ;D

It was a little thing, anyway. About half the size but the same width as a "normal" size of printer paper. BUT.... if it hit someone in the head or smashed the roof of an expensive car?  yadda yadda....

Lots of new projects lately from people in isolation because of the current situation, but this one is a direct response to the "current situation." Extra free time is one thing, but this would never had existed if not for the pandemic. "Nothing good about a pandemic on," we're better without it, but it does offer up a unique set of circumstances that facilitates creativity we would have never seen otherwise.

"Clearing the bench got sidetracked when this kit (Airfix 1/72), fell out of a bag. So me being me, I thought go mad !"

Double feature. The comments section went various ways eventually producing this, by the same feller:

I really dig this one.....     Thing is, I find the X-32 to be one ugly looking pile of crap but this just goes to show that with the right "treatment" perception can be altered.

"I'm a very slow builder who usually spend months or years to complete a kit.
So as a little challenge I gave myself one week to finish this very old G55.
And I did it in 6 days! 😀
There were no decals in the kit - which I by the way got for free - so the scheme is what-if with some spare decals.
Very mediocre - but very fast 😄
"

I made one of these myself a few years back into a Vatican City AF plane.

I don't think he's done with it yet, but whatever.

I just think that the X-32 looks different enough to be interesting. The look appeals ... from some angles.

;D Without a doubt! I'd love to get my hands on a model kit of one and do it up. This feller proves that it can be done and viewed from certain angles it can look pretty cool.

I always thought that if I decided to build a Boeing X-32 I'd swap the rake on that intake - sweep it back by 90 degrees, if only for aesthetics.  I'd have to move the nose gear, but it'd be worth it.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

ooops ! had I seen this before ...
It had already been "done" as a 3-view drawing, but not as a plastic model as far as I know. <_<
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]
