Can't even say one was British and the other US lbs as up to and including the lb the systems are the same  ;)

I think this is because in my country (France) politicians tell so many lies that we are used to see every word as dubious to be confirmed (or not). Sorry, excessive skepticism may look weird abroad but here this is necessary (not "to survive" but almost) ;)
