I gotted a 1:350 Tamiya King George 5th battleship, cheap !  , so in the interest of seeing the super detailing stuff, i had a look at the Hannats page   :o  i could spend more that i spent on the kit just replacing the gun barrel's...   maybe ill leave that super detailing thing alone again

Sounds sensible  ;)

part of its my inherant wargamerness,  1 super uber detailed kit, or 3 wargames kits hmmm, which will get me more bang, for my points, on the table ??? ;D  and possibly the later are faster to assemble and paint.  :banghead:

broke out ( literaly) the 2nd hand Chally to remove the bits i want to repair / replace on the 2 ive built.  still got to replace the grab handle on the back of the turret "coffin" bin on the second, i think ill have to bend some dental wire for that.  but all the smoke grenade launchers are back on, and the gun crutch part has been replaced.

cleaned up a dozen more 28mm empress 80s brits, after doing 2 multi part ones, i called it a day and got them all superglued onto the 2p peices i use for bases.

nothing finished but the 40 minutes spent doing it is the longest time ive sepent at the desk for an age
so happy.

been superglueing some senery

the small plastic tubes in the center of a roll of plastic bags,  1cm dia, and 6cm ( ish) length, stack them 3 on the bopttom 2 on top and they make great pipe stacks, got 2 already done and a 3rd seting, easy to paint as well, spray grey, and chuck some ink at them then a quick dry brush
also found the engines for the 1:48 lear that i had in store ( the model got a pair of 1:48 engines from an A10, they are pretty much the same diameter as the fusalage)  these have gone into the 1:48 Falcon 10 box so i can give that one a set of 4 on the rear kind of like a shrunk in the wash VC10

and when i get round to doing the engine less A10 ive got a couple of props from  a busted AC130 to put on.
