i have a Tamiya 1:48 A10,  i have been meaning to do a RAF version as why not ( yes i know  price, limited role use, price, its not UK built, price, and the Treasury is moaning re- Price)  but i think i now have a good reason, i managed to pick up a set of 1:48 JP 233s from the Tornado SIG at Telford,  so twin centre line for them, a Pave way under each wing and then treble hunting RBL755 clusters , then singles, then ecm on one wing and twin winder on the other...  does that sound any good?   or possibly go with single mavs.

in other news  i had a look at the kingkit website and did a quick run through the Tamiya 1:35 UK and JSDF stuff i want by the time i add in a couple of other random bits  it comes to a total that im going to have to start saving for        not massive. and considering the cost of the older kits, nothing too excessive,  but more than the metaphorical 2 bob fifty and some luncheon vouchers, but it would certainly  get a lot of plastic for the cash.  And wile i know other brands exist a large amount of them either arnt UK relevant or seam to have " the more parts are better mindset" that drives me spare,  5 or 6 parts per track piece is not something i want in a tank kit.
and from looking at Telford a lot of dealers seem to think that asking as much as Hobbycraft for old kits in old boxes that have been kicked around the floor is a way of keeping in business,  i think some of them were trying to get more than dealer price.   i think i may have to " write a little list" to misquote a song,  put down what i want and put the  new price / 2nd hand price and slowly buy off that, at shows, or from any shops i go past.

That was taken on the Sunday, you can tell by the large collection of long winged thingies over on the left, they only came out of storage then to replace some 'Saturday Only' models.

i am reasonably certain ( bwahahaha) that a certain way up tread, i talked  regarding my own version of " the Plan"  that madcap idea that we all seam to have  where we want to fill out a certain list of models,  I had one in that i wanted to do a list of Armoured vehicles that have been used by the UK  in 1:35 ( tanks, ACs, artillery vehicles etc)   and my slow and laboured path to it,  which due to lack of space to display, and certain things only being produced in resin, when the moons of Jupiter are in the 3rd house of pycon, in the holy scale of 1: 29, and costing more than my weight in ruby's, are not going to get done,  My determination to do a mid 80s+ British battle group in 1:48 / 1:50 / 1:56/ 28mm ( i am slowly getting there,  admittedly its now 2 battle-groups, one in Berlin Brigade Block and one in normal green  / black BAOR      mission creep is a thing)   and  a desire to get the Tamiya JSDF L  offerings, as they are different enough to most European theatre things,     i now find myself starting to mentally hare off wanting to do a slew of M113 versions,  i mean there cant be that many can there       and as i get back from a Wiki look realising there thousands of them,  thick as grass,   most of them wont get produced, and again i have no storage space.....
i wont even  repeat my 1:350 scale ship plan, 
I may need to write a list.... ( not hard)
and then stick to it...  ( yea right)

and now i have a longer problem. 
i have boxed some kits in an effort to get some space in the model room,  and have decanted them to the loft.....   and now  as Mrs SP put it, " does the loft now look like Parabellum?"   to which the honest answer is " yes"
come the spring i will have to bring everything back down, and then totally re-jenga the space to ensure closest packing.    
i know that another answer is to build some stuff and then itll be smaller , but i have massively variable mojo at the moment, and am still trying to finish the land-rover  WOMBAT combo.  This will however put the brakes on me getting more kits that i dont really need , and are unlikely to build.  so at the moment its a bonus not a problem.
still onwards and try not to think too much regarding upwards.
