the Landy is on hold wile i try at doing the load,   trying to find decent pics of the WOMBAT is a bit tricky as most seem to be of one side, and lots are very "silhouette-y " ive managed to get good enough ( im certain)  the Pics of the Scorpion models instructions are massively helpful, as they are of a grey model against a blue background  and are well lit, giving a lot of definition on the detail  :thumbsup:

just had a moment of  :o

13 september 1999   the moon was blown out of orbit  sending the crew of moonbase alpha, who knows where.

that was just over 25 years ago now!  :unsure:

having had the Flu booster a few weeks ago and not having had a reaction,  i went and got the Covid booster on friday,  so hot, coughing, bunged up and still no X-gene activation  :banghead:   i think that ive had a " good " reaction to this one..
needless to say no modelling done this weekend as i can barely think to type ( and thank Bob for spell checkers)

had a breif tidy up,  managed to get the area under my desk cleared a little and thus allowing the radiator to work.  got all the AA kits into a store cupboard by the simple expedient of double boxing the tamiya desert Challys  :thumbsup:   as i want to keep all of them together , i just need to find the rest of the AA bits  the warning lights, water bottles etc, i have a horrible thought that they are scattered inside the relevant tank kits i bought at the same time that will be a varying value of " Fun"  :banghead:

another year another SMW,  had a good couple of day, talked with the SIG, tried to lead visitors to the stand along our line of thought, picked up a few kits ad a few books ( more Tankograd post WW2 British), learnt of the potatofication of small moons,  discussed the slow enlargement of the periodic table.  and wile i was leaving the table had a nice Canadian lady ask regarding my ear pierceings  :o
Back home and had a quiet couple of days recovering and a meal out with Mrs SP today,   all in all a nice long weekend  :thumbsup:
