have been at the Small space show at hanslope today.  It was very good, had a lot of stuff on display and for sale,  but was rather hot, I managed to get my copy of the Blake's 7 roleplaying game signed by Michael Keating ( played Villa Restal ) , picked up a liberator teleport bracelet kit, some second hand space marines, and a mug with the original Liberator concept sketch on it ( with the egg shaped power plant not the sphere shaped one)   had a chat with OGL and showed of a few of my figures ( blakes 7 crew, and federation, the Scooby gang, and some 1999 astronauts).  had too leave at around 1 as Mrs SP was starting to melt in the heat, and I didn't want her to get heat stroke.

well the weekend got expensive fast  :banghead:   last night my graphics card died......   £250 ( ish) to replace ordered last night, arrived this morning, replaced this evening, and im back   :thumbsup:

its a damm good job I didn't go tonto at small space  :angry:

ive done naff all modelling due to the heat, and it worry's me not  :thumbsup:  wile it has been rather too warm, ( Mrs SP starts to suffer heat stroke at 29C)  in the end it could be far worse.

ive done a bit of tidying and watched some AMVs and read ( and reread) a few books.   :thumbsup:

Don't blame you. Once it hits about 30C, or there abouts, my brain starts to shut down and I just relax, i.e. lie around  ;) Doesn't happen that often though. ;D

a busy day, repainted one of the rooms at late mum in laws in Monmouth,  emulsion drying times 2 hours, ( tin said 4+) and tiding up more stuff down there,  needless to say been a long hot day.
I hope to be rather more relaxed tomorrow.

a few more of the chally parts together, as long as its a few its each time im happy at the moment.
im still planning on the TSR next, so at the mo that's doing the dance round the room, wile it move between PC and painting desk.

off this week ( yay!  :thumbsup:  )
so putting more bits on,  engine deck handles  :( tiny fiddly things     extended range fuel drums, and front deck gubbins,  lights etc.

but the heat is melting, so I cant do much before I need to stop and rest.
Inherited cat went for her boosters this morning,  im glad the car had AC for her, going wasn't bad, but coming back was rather warm.

yup still a young whipper snapper, old enough to know better, and not to care.
had a friend turn up with a card and gifts, 128GB memory cards for the music in the car, tropical jelly beans, and a liquorish gift box, watch straps, wands, Catharine wheels etc,  yummy

ive done not much of very little, its just too dam hot!

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

I will have some for when I see him and a couple of other friends Friday, and for my co-workers when im back in work Monday  :thumbsup:

im capable of operating for a few hours in the morning, them my bran gives up  :o
I am getting sorta used to the temps, but by the time im fully acclimatised, id imagine ittl be mid winter  ;D
