a good day.
why???
today I celebrate my 18th wedding anniversary.  no matter what else, today I can smile a truly say I am a lucky man   ( and know Mrs Sp thinks a similar thought)

tell your loved ones you love them,   it helps, you and then.

Congrats --- just noticed the date too, on the 18th me & mrs kitnut celebrated our 42nd
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Always helps to have a plan  ;)

That memo never reached me; I've no plan, I'm just making it up as I go.

more green on the chally 2   though I am having trouble getting to the hull back plate, the fuel drums block too much access, they may have to come off   to be re added after final assembly of the body, and deck.

though to be honest any progress is a significant step forward

Weaver

Don't know if you've noticed, but I put a thread up talking about the scale issues in the Revell Star Wars kits. The good news is that the allegedly 1/110th scale TIE Fighter (the bog standard one) is more like twice that size, which means it's in the right size range for 28mm wargames figures. The approximate height of the pilot figure is 27mm (approximate because he's sitting, so a bit of judgement is involved).

Given that the Snowspeeder is allegedly 1/52nd scale, that's two of the range that are relevent to wargamers.

Ty Weaver, id noticed the pics showing the different pilot sizes  :banghead:  I will have to keep an eye out for any dirt cheap one for bits and bashing though, pilots are tricky to get hold of

Hobbycraft are selling them at £3 until midnight tonight, but it depends on whatever stock's in your local branch - they're not available through the website.

Was the relaxation down to the Japanese restaurant or the visit to Parabellum ? No idea why but I can't relax when eating Japanese

Chirk Castle, the Brum back to backs.......are you exercising a National Trust membership?  If you make it as far as Leominster  Berrington Hall, come on a Monday or Saturday and ask for Michael!

Narses   all of the above reasons to be honest,  a nice meal,  a good wonder, and a little extra stashage, only eaten at that restaurant a few times, but ive yet to have anything I haven't utterly enjoyed, yesterdays was a cod and pork bento  yumyumyum
Rheged  we got lifetime memberships around 20 years ago, we sat down one year did the maths, and asked for cash for crimbo that year for it,  when we first had the old orange cards we were in our mid 20s and managed to confuse a lot of people with them  ;D  we look rather more of the age to have them now, but still mange to confuse the daylights out of guides at times, as we both have minds full of useless information.   And thank you for the heads up, we will be certain to visit, and ask

still trying ( and jut managing) to move forward,  a couple of weeks ago went to a meeting of the Womborne model club,  felt very welcome, and it looks like Mrs SP and myself will be going as often as we can,  done a bit more on the chally ( yay!) but think I may have lost one of the fuel tanks of the back ( boo) but have managed to get my other 2 copys of the kit ( in the Trumpy boxes) out of the storage cupord, so will replace if I cant find it soon, after that, who knows.

cosi is soon, so im making certain im in a good enough mood / state to want to come, and them itll be load up on the minirolls, and try yo find something different to bring
