a few more parts together, and a bit of a mistake, I was going to do one  possibly both the Tau vehicles as fully swappable so they can be any of the 3 versions, APC, Tank ADA, and add wire hinges so that both the side hatch's and the commanders hatch can open / shut.  :banghead:  managed to split the hinges on both the sides wile trying to drill them drat. I know It can be done, I've done it on one of the other hulls I've got.... still ill just glue them in and no worry.  im doing this for fun, and pleasure

You know that's probably illegal under some statute of Edward III or similar ? Don't worry though I'll get "Young Nick" to pop some grub into The Tower for you on his way to work  ;) ;D

I'll fire some stale buns over the walls with a catapult!  ;D

I actually know someone who lives in the Tower with her Beefeater hubby. With her help we could disguise you as a washerwoman and sneak you out  ;D

ill practice an awful cockney accent,  and going Poot! Poot!   ;D

and as far as I know its no longer a problem ( whew)  as in depth research  ( well I read the blurb on the machine that converts a 2p piece to a neat key fob at the Birmingham sea life centre said that  it had been repealed )

but at the moment for a good consistent 25mm round base 2p is less than the plastic ones most wargames stores sell  :banghead:

Exactly.  How many 2p coins vs an equal number of plastic bases for a quid?  ;D  Plus, you can get a roll of them at any bank

ideas for people to run off with  number N+1

the cheese plane.   delta wing with a big slot at the back for the flaps / blade  colour of you favourite flavour ( bonus points I guess if you can do a good set of holes for Jarlseburg, or blue veins for Stilton)  extra points if you can get an alliteration with the name

Mrs SP and I were hit by this idea wile doing cheese and crackers for tea  I have no idea where it came from  ;D :o

I think there literally was a drone/RPV like that.

still cutting sprue and gluing to make scenery stacks.....  and the tau tanks are now PSRed and have had some touch up white on,  I may have to use a second cover / base coat then can start on the grey and green blocks.

ill have a look through some of the show threads and se if I can find them.

the only ones ive found are from my "real " berlin stuff  here https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=38558.15     2 of the 7 are Whifs

Ah, okay. So... a proper 40k Tau army in Berlin Brigade camo, not a Tau tank used by the 1.9-2k British Army in Berlin?  ;D

Would a Tau tank work with some 1/35 figures or would it look too small?

Hmmmm, Tau tank with anti-RPG screens and a Gimpy on the cupola?
Cheers,
Moritz

yup a proper Tau force, the power suits have the feet altered and a set of winglets /stabilisers added to the back, the stealth suits are wet painted so that the patterning looks like its running out, the infantry ( only Tau) look massively impressive en mass, ( as they are all in block as well with small black lines added in the same places on each and every one with a technical drawing pen  :banghead: :banghead:)   and the power suits and vehicles all get block as well.   its very time intensive, but ive had a good friend who is also a wargamer complain that when they were used on an urban / city board that they gave him a headache looking at them, so result  :o

id say too small in 1:35 but would fit 1:48 as long as you didn't look too hard ( with it being sci fi the rule of cool applies to some things)

gimpy would work, with it being a VTOL / aerodyne / panzer style the mesh skirts would look well off to me, ( your mileage may very)
