Well done SP, and Mrs SP too of course.

The late Mrs_PR19 and I managed 34 years, mainly because she was 1000% tolerant of my insane list of crazy hobbies.

had a moment of inspiration/ madness and had a stab at tidying the unpainted lead pile  :banghead:
its back in its relative stowage areas, marginally better packed, and ive found stuff I cant remember getting...
armed Victorian firemen....  a platoon of Vietnam era Australian troops...  a box 8" * 12"* 3" full of hasslefree and heresy figures, including a load of Grymm and human adventures.  a complete Ainsty resin ship.

and im certain that ive lost a platoon of modern Australian troops
I need to try to clear the area in front of my modelling desk and then have a go at the desk   ;D   if crazed laughter is heard ( well more so than normal) there is no reason for alarm.

call off the dogs    ive managed to get through to my desk...  and the 2 tau vehicles are together, a little putty was needed, so that's hardening now, a little sanding and I can start on the paint   ;D

I little progress has been made.
I feel much better for it as well.

  a penny under a grand...

How stupid is that?  :banghead:

Not that it's actually expensive, of course it is, but that they knock off a penny! They should have the courage of their convictions and say it's a grand!

Old Wombat

It's like everything, Kit, they all do it because some marketing genius once said that there's a mental switch in the average persons' head that triggers if a price hits a certain value ($1, $2, $10, $100, etc.) it becomes "too expensive" but, if you reduce the price by even one cent/penny/whatever (99c, $1.99, $9.99, $99.99, etc.) it doesn't trigger that switch.

Personally, I think it's a load of bull-manure but retailers live by that rule.
