Looking to do a AW101 VVIP for my Aisarama build country similar to this:

Anyone have any sources for or spare sprues of airliner/bizjet seats?  And, unfortunately, the Italeri VH-71 lacks an interior, other than a cargo floor.

Eh?

Mine came with a whole SLEW of seats, but sadly for you I sent them across the Atlantic to one of our colleagues here. I thought the VH-71 version was the only one of the Italeri Merlins that DID have the seats.

AFAIK there aren't too many kits available in 1/72 that have bizet type seats unfortunately.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The airliner seats in the Airfix Skyvan are spare if you do a cargo version. Not sure if they're posh enough, but then not sure how much it matters in 1/72nd.

The ESCI Fokker Friendship comes with a whole load of em, fairly close to what you seek. Considering how poorly it's been received as far as accuracy goes, you may be able to find them fairly cheap.

Love the "pilots" in that Skyvan pic Weaver  They look like a couple of 1930's bus drivers  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Army of One

Almost like the pilot in the Airfix BN Islander.........without looking I'd not know but does the Airfix Fokker Friendship have passenger seats....?? I got some in the loft n if they have them they would be surplus to me......

The Freindship doesn't have seats.  Revell's Rotodyne has a a full compliment, a bit basic though and possibly undersized at 1/78.  Saying that, they look similar to the double seat in the piccy and you could fairly easily convert them to single seats.  I might have a few spare, I'll have to dig through the spares box.

Have a look in the fifth pic down in this link:

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Got a Rotodyne on the way.  And undersized is fine, it'll just give a better illusion than the stock troop seats.
