What happens when you insist on standing next to the airfield fence when a Eurofighter Typhoon lands?  ;D

I wish I'd been there! I think it was a bit lower than normal given the wheels brushed the hedge...

I like the permanent "notches" in the hedge.  Obviously they do it quite often.   I'm surprised they haven't set it alight with the dry weather in the UK at the moment.  ;)

Its not quite that dry yet, we had a long wet winter and the heatwave has really settled in this week.

Downunder, that's perfect bushfire weather.  Loads of wet in Winter/Spring to promote growth then a dry heat wave for it all to dry out quickly.   :o

I watched a Dutch Navy P-3 Orion undershoot once at Waddington, and we were watching from the official spotters area just down the way thank goodness. His wheels went THROUGH the hedge and the prop-wash blew tons of bracken, branches and leaves all over the road!  :o

They sent a couple of Landies out to clear it all off. 'Crash Crew man your brooms!'  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model
