Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thistle dew, Pig - thistle dew!

Where am I going?  And why am I in a handbasket?

Very nice. Not hard to imagine them in a vic.

Yup the Vandle strikes again  ;D
More surpurb builds and more temptation for me to save up and get a Wing Nuts Wings jobbie ..no idea which thou.
Awesome stuff VV mate
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Thanks all. I'm having a great time with all these biplanes at the moment

WNW are way too big for my liking though. 1/72 is where the party is at  ;D

72nd is where its at ???
Dude i looked at the Spad ive got and was wondering how the hell im gonna build something at small and its 48th   ;D
32nd could be a wee bit easier for me to build..ive got quite restrictive movement in my left hand but the Spad is a challenge im kinda looking forward to
The WNW Gotha bomber i want but the price i dont want

Yeah, understandable that you would need a larger scale. 72nd does tax my eyesight and dexterity to the absolute limit. It's the only one I can do in terms of display space though, since I absolutely refuse to mix scales.

Next up in the Biggles series will be a vacform Halberstadt kitbash (a true whatif - not just the scheme but the aircraft itself) followed by an Albatros. Might be an SE5 thrown in too for good measure.

We have the same problems with space VV and 72nd would be the way to go for me too but yeah its the size issues in my case..tooooo small so 48th is the smallest i can really work with.
I do have  1/144 Concorde im playing with but its not really that small and its simple as hell to build and the mods are of a size i can also work with .
I do have to give ya huge kudos for those planes VV..beautifully built for something that small.
Oh news update for ya ..im getting something which is 72nd scale but a wee bit bigger than yours ..a B58 which gonna convert into a 48th scale plane

By the anticlockwise propellor of my sainted aunt!  Those are great.

Which WNW kit?  Easy, a Brisfit.  The Australians in Palestine in WW1 flew one finished in a Yellow scheme i'd like to build.

Just the small matter of money and space...

I built the Yellow Peril last year for ANZAC Day. The old Airfix kit.
It's on my site: https://sites.google.com/view/biggles-modelling/home/general-aviation/ww1?authuser=0
I want to build some of the other AFC Bristols to go with Fire in the Sky on my bookshelf.

I treated myself to the Junkers DI monoplane at the last SMW they attended. It's a stunner and one day it will get built

Ya know Fred id be happy with any WNW aircraft..ive got a hrap of model plane mags now and WNW is in most of them and all ya read is how good they are ..so yip any off em would do but the Gotha bomber would be amazing and if it wasnt dew to its size and cost ( about  $370 nz ) id have one .
So ill save up and get something alot smaller  ;D a Albatross would be very cool .

Yellow Peril looks great.  You're right about the lack of references.
