Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Good job.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Air Police Proctor
Appears in almost all of the Air Police stories
Build: http://uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=234&t=6095
Novo 1/72 Percival Proctor (and an Oxford die cast 1/76 Wolseley police car)

Note the colours on the Proctor - very prescient considering the colour scheme worn by current National Police Aviation Service helicopters.

Something in my ageing mind always thought the Proctor was overall red. Certainly that was my plan as I spread the parts about the rear seat of my parents car on the way home from the Schoolboys and Schoolgirls exhibition in the Kelvin Hall, Glasgow, where I got the newly released kit in the early 1960's. (I also got the new Revel SE5A with those wonderful joined up pairs of struts ).
Now why did I think it was overall red?
I am sure one of the book covers had it in that scheme.
Can anyone help me, and please NO facetious answers, I can hear them already.

Alle kunst ist umsunst wenn ein engel auf das zundloch brunzt!!

Sic biscuitus disintegratum!

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

I think I had a Biggles book with a red Proctor on the cover but cannot find it here or on the web.  Found a yellow one

But maybe ... ???

Found other red aircraft (not counting Fokker Triplanes)

JayBee

Wowee!
Biggles of the Interpol cover has a red proctor.
It is not the ilustration that I have in my mind, but it is good enough for me.  :drink:

Yes, my Proctor is a bit of a flight of fancy scheme. I wanted to build something that had the look of an Air Police plane.

As far as red Proctors go, the only one I can think of is the cover of Interpol (posted above). I have another Proccy which I will probably do in yellow as per Syndicate.

We are having a Biggles group build on the UAMF in September. Would love to have additional participants if anyone here is a member already or would like to join up

This isn't so much an update as a community service announcement to let you know we are running a Biggles group build over on the UAMF through September.

Come one, come all! Love to have people join us.

I should have a model or two to update with after that

My Group Build entry is done: Air Police Auster Autocrat (general duties)

The Airfix Auster is decent but extremely bare bones. I scratchbuilt a cockpit, added the framework inside the canopy and some other bits and bobs. Scrubbed up ok.
