Good tip.  Thanks.
Still not sure if I want to rig double wires, but thanks.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Oh go on....you know you wanna...

I thought I'd post this up - the latest update of the Biggles shelves. The bookshelf runs two deep, hence why it is sagging alarmingly  :o (I really do need to do something about that!)

Top shelf is for WW1 and WW2
Second top is for interwar
Next is for postwar (i.e. Special Air Police)
Bottom shelf is non-Biggles - some 1930s CNAC aircraft, other randoms and models my kids have made

Mmmmmmmmmm, real hardback books...

My Biggles collection is a combination of hardbacks and paperbacks.

I see you have not yet painted the Biggles figure I sent you.  Nice collection indeed.

VickersVandal

No, I'm still scared to muck it up...
I can do all sorts of fine detail on aircraft but figure painting eludes me yet.

I'll get there one day. I keep meaning to take it down to the wargaming shop down the road to get advice on how to do it well.

With the models, I'm continually in your debt with your WW1 aircraft database

Thanks  for the compliment about the database.

I've still not done the D-VIII or D-VII Ace of Spades that we discussed ages ago.

No model updates right now, but a heads up that there is an Interwar themed group build going on at the Biggles Forum:

Lovely.

Not sure if I have Biggles in Borneo.  I'll have to go and have a rummage.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

VickersVandal

Thanks, chaps.

Also, I've started piling all these builds into a website. Check it out:

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
