Ok this is impressive as hell..beautiful build and beautiful rigging ..damn that looks so good Vandal.
Reading what ya said about the Spad i am glad i won a Eduard Spad in 48th yesterday..that one seems to be a very good kit and yours wasnt even close to good but mate...that turned into a excellent looking model

And yet, far less trouble than plenty of injected kits I've built in my time. If the quality of the moulding is good, which this one certainly was, them you're laughing. I think I'd rather build vacform than resin, given the choice.

Nice work on all of these! The WW1 stories are often quite bleak compared to the later ones, but the characters seem more human, less "cartoony" than in the later books.

Excellent work!  I still have a Fokker D-VIII (Ace of Spades) and Pfalz D-III earmarked for my collection (from many years ago) and the Rumpler is a gap.

PS Resin do a resin 1/72 Rumpler. There's a review in January's SAM which I'd advise reading before considering any purchase as it's a bit of a mixed bag

Im getting a Trumpeter 48th Whirlwind and in the piles of mags ive been buying is a November 2014 issue 112 Model Airplane International magazine .
There is a great build/review of the Whirlwind and damn mate..its missing parts..its proportions are all wrong ..its like its to long..to wide ..missing parts from the cockpit ..im still getting it but now i know what im in for.

That's right, as long as you go in with your eyes open it's fine.

Whirlwind is one of my favourite aircraft. Built a few Airfix ones and have a few SH ones in the stash

I know ive said it before but i do love twin engined WW2 aircraft and i had a 72nd Whrilwind as a kid..Airfix ill bet and ive always wanted a bigger one..none existed until trumpeter ..so great there and i dont care about the problems.
I ordered two other aircraft too..DH RN Hornet and a FW Ta 152 ..god knows when ill get em ..everything is snail slow now here but illbget em and that im really looking forward to
