Nice to see the old-school skills are still useful now and then...

Indeed
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

There again, I find I use them more often than not, as I either don't have the newer bits required for the newer techniques, or I won't pay for them as I have the old-school skills, or both!
Yeah, I'm (really) cheap - which is not something I usually have a problem with... ;D

The scratchbuild is finished!

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

The paint job is exceptional!

It is indeed especially the typical period streaking on the wings

Thanks. The streaking was done over a tan/linen base and I used a 50/50 mix of model color green and model air brown-violet. The model air paint being thin gave it the consistency to streak well.

I've done a number of Fokker triplanes with streaked olive so I've been able to develop the technique.

Too many Camels and not enough Germans for that.I'd need to build roughly 17 more hun aircraft for it to be a proper dogfight  ;D

"Six eh?" mused Biggles, counting the approaching machines. "Ought to be enough for one solitary Camel."
