Mossie, no you got it wrong! This is Predator, not Alien! lol

LOL....good one ! But now that you mention it Mossie, I can sure see it !

Making it look like Alien and calling it Predator. Who ever said that a/c designers had no sense of humor? lol

Hah!  Good one, never thought of that!  Alien vs Predator, guess the Aliens won after all!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Yeah, but only until Arni came along and terminated both of them. That was before he became a Governator. lol

Had the IPMS Hellas contest/show this weekend and my Predator got a Silver!

Happy moment, thought I'd share!

You'll need an armed escort to take all that lot home with you!  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Yeah, I entered 3 kits and got 3 awards. Got me my little moment of glory, I must confess.

I told you that there'd be a follow-up on the Predator. Well, time to get started then. Although I had a pretty clear idea on what I was going to do it was not until this weekend, at the IPMS show, that the idea finally jelled. Lots of inspiration I got from the show. Plenty of new ideas. The one I had for the Predator was, I wouldn't say half-baked. It was a good idea, one that I had already embarked upon but there was something missing. Then it hit me! Oh, no need to change direction. It's just a little twist that's been added that'll make the whole thing, well, er...perfect! You see, the Predator predates. You get it? No? Well follow my WIP and you will (maybe).

Let the show begin by cheerfully hacking and sawing through my second Predator kit.

Off with the ruddervators!

The once proud wings are now two stumps.

These round pearl cabochons are perfect for the anti-grav pods, which, once mounted on the sponsons, provide all the lift that's needed.

More to come...

Long wings are always long wings MichelC, it's what you attach them to that matters.  ;D
