I'm looking for a 1/72 FLIR "ball" turret.  Perhaps off a helicopter?  Anybody got one they can spare?  I will pay postage to downunder.

I've made one in 72nd scale before by just using the round end of a sprue, with a little detailing. Barring that, I may have one to spare in the ol' stash.

Depending on the scale, you can also make one out of one of those map pins that have a spherical head: they come in at least a couple of different sizes.

Upside: the pin is a damned good mounting for it
Downside : the plastic of the head is rock hard

I'll put a little turret you could use in with the decals I'm sending - something you could modify, at least...

There's one in the Airfix Nimrod kit thats only for use on late model MR2's

I make them from airsoft pellets, they are the right size for 1/72nd scale, perfectly round and made from white plastic. Very cheap to buy too.

Yes but you need a license for them.  Airsoft weapons, using the plasticised pellets are illegal because of their general look to real semi/fully automatic weapons.  So the plasticised pellets are not available either.
