LOTS of us, but it's not at the old Yate site, they've moved to the much larger Thornbury Centre. More room and more parking too.

Bit too far for me from bottom end of Somerset.

Don't suppose there is one closer would you know?

Tried looking on IPMS web page, a touch out of date.

I doubt it, but surely it's not THAT far from you? 45 odd miles up the county?

Depends on if you're driving or on the bus !

Buses to Thornbury on a Sunday? I don't think so, not in this part of the world anyway.

It's got to be THE closest show to me, I can almost see Thornbury out of my lounge window, but there's a socking great river in the way so I'll be driving 30 odd miles to get there!

Afraid not. As mentioned before this year shows have tended to clash with christenings, weddings and ruby wedding bashes. At least your's didn't clash Rad

I'll be at a wedding that weekend. One of my Godchildren
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

You won't need a map, the guys on the door will reply 'Oh, THOSE guys!' and point you the way.  ;D

Steel Penguin

Kit   not necessarily, we will be sharing space with war-gamers, and wile the historical types are fairly "normal" ( for a certain value of normal) the fantasy and sci fi crowds can be odd, ( please note that I cover all of the above bases in those descriptions).  wile a goodly chunk of the hobby will be as confused by our presence and most "serious" modellers are, some will get it, and some may make us look positively sane normal and boring...
the things you learn, give your mind the wings to fly, and the chains to hold yourself steady
take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.
