I think that middle picture may cast an unfortunate light on your RAF piolets. Do they really need the arrows to remind them where the front is ???????

Not at all, they KNOW that already 'cos it's the pointed end.

The arrows are there to make combat a bit fairer for the enemy, and they point to the end where the pilot is, otherwise the bad guys may get confused and fire off into the ether waisting their ammunition and resulting in a walk-over by the RAF.  ;) ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Father Ennis,  most RAF pilots need all the help they can get. Some are still having L&R painted on their flying boots!

Capt. Canada, will wheedle tablet time from wife and see what I can do. Got a long weekend off coming along so keep an eye here.

Anyone care to venture a grey colour number/BS/FS NUMBER?
too old for a paper round, too young for me pensions, dammit, back to work then!

So, work has finally quietened a bit and I've started on the first of my evilbay Hunter's.
Had a good look and the plan I had has gone out the window.

Going to go a tad 'off-piste' , i'll post photos as and when my wife's tablet becomes available.

Many thanks to SSB9,
After our meet today, i now have the bits to go all gallic inspired on one of the Hunters for the F-117 backstory.

Good to meet yet another 'Whiffer' here in the deepest South West of the U.K.
