Hi chaps,

Those with eagle eyes might have noticed my resin sets are now listed on Hannants future releases, you might also have noticed the some prices have gone up on the list price on my website. Due to a bit of a re-think I've had to offer the range to them to increase my sales so I can remain fulltime self-employed, but it means a significant reduction in my profit, so the prices have had to go up on some sets. I have not changed the prices on existing stocks on my website yet, so if you fancy something at the lower prices get it now! Some items are depleted on my website and cannot be reatocked at the moment, as priority is to get hannants their stock as soon as possible. If your buying from outside the EU this works in your favour to go to hannants, as you get the VAT back, which I can't do (as I'm not VAT registered) so that saves you 20%.

Hope that makes sense. Thanks

bets of luck and it makes sense most other manufactures are putting up prices every few weeks and you have to make a liveing

Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for!!!

just looked over at Hannants site,
I knew I should have got half a dozen ifr direct from Freightdog. Now i'll have to wait and see what comes up elsewhere. :banghead: :banghead:
too old for a paper round, too young for me pensions, dammit, back to work then!

Understandable Colin.

Just ordered a pair of the early Buccaneer sets off Hannants, probably could have got them direct from Colin but thought had better show some demand at Hannants for the Freightdog range

Thanks Geoff! The logic is that will people will buy the items while looking for other stuff, rather than coming to me for one item, and hannants tend to restock in fairly good quantities, so when they run out of some resin items they will also top up on decals and pegasus or Blue Max kits which is a winner for me as I've got plenty of them left. I'm quite surprised the Brimstones have sold out already, but I will have some of those in stock next week.

Are you going to Sutton Coldfield? If so I'll see you there...

Don't panic, I will still be selling them direct, and I'm sure I can do you a nice deal on a dozen.

Best of luck with the wider sales reach, Colin - you deserve additional success.

Hannants list your de Havilland Mosquito B.IV Special 4000 lbs conversion set (Code Number: FDR72047); any clues as to when this may become available?  it's the bomb bay I'm particulalry interested in but the tailplanes can of course be put to good use!

I would be interested in that as well. Which kit is it intended for?

Hi guys, its designed for the Tamiya kit but could fit a Airfix or Hasegawa one with a bit of tweaking. Hopefully all the items listed on hannants should be with them by mid September.

Still could do with a set a two stage Merlins for the Tamiya Mosquito that don't originate from Pavla, to allow the Post War versions to be modelled. ;)

The Wooksta!

Definitely!  Actually, decent two stage Merlins as all teh alternatives are either too short (Pavla), too wide (Airwaves, CMR) or unavailable (Paragon).

Not just post war, because you've the two stage Merlins on the wartime mk VIII onwards - B.VIII, B.IX, B.XVI and B35 plus the PR equivalents and the nightfighters - NF30, NF

But you'd also need the bulged side panel bomber canopy too, plus the PR equivalent (also fitted to the TT35) which features an astrodome on top - the Aeroclub one is too wide for the Tamiya kit and the Falcon one only comes as part of a complete set and is not available separately from Squadron.

Colin, if and when Paul does the master for this, can you ask him to do it as a complete nacelle replacement like he did with the early Mosquito nacelles?  Makes life so much easier and I know that I for one would pay a little bit more to get the bits that way.
