When I come to do the next vote (next year) propose it then Nils

What about Roman or Byzantine?
Will die without understanding this world.

I beg to dissent from this proposal from  Kitbasher :

"Shouldn't this be qualified to mean a nation state that does not exist anymore, but did in the past and operated aircraft? That would rule out the Hanseatic league, Roman Empire, Mongol Hordes, etc (although the idea of a Mongol Air Horde does have have a rather barbaric appeal!). "

IMO, it would detract from the fantasy and amusement value of the GB. Long live the Mongol Armoured Hordes, and the Hanseatic League Hovercraft!  ;D
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

... but did in the past and operated aircraft ...

Title says Forgotten Forces, no Forgotten Air Forces.
Will die without understanding this world.

"...and then, from out of the rising sun came the attack helicopters of the Kmt Army of the North catching the Assyrian 3rd Armoured corp by surprise and leaving barely a 10th of their number to tell the tale..."

Although personally i'd like to see a Fairmile D Viking raider complete with dragon head.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Sounds good to me. I recently finished a MAYAN EMPIRE airplane and love stuff like this. Nothing wrong with resurrecting the dead from time to time.  ;D

You've given me visions of Vikings storming out of Higgins boats with axe-heads instead of bayonets.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Speaking of VIKINGS....  I just saw this on Facebook and remembered y'alls conversation....

Supposed to be Viking warriors but one seems to have an RPG?   ;D

1980's timeframe: The Spartan 300 hunkered down in Leopard 1A5's at Thermopylae holding off the Xerxes MMCCCLXXVIII's Persian's in their T-72's & Immortals in their T-80's.

Don't forget about the other 700 or so from Thebes and the other city-states in their M-48 Pattons  ;D

Orion figures?  Their sets would be good for this GB, they're known for slipping the odd funny in.  My favourite is the one in the pirate set, firing a belt-fed cannon from the hip!

I didn't but I was thinking of them as the support infantry in the mountains above using their small arms, light weapons & mortars against infantry flanking threats, & recoilless rifles, shoulder-launched rockets, MILAN & BGM-71 TOW against any armoured flanking threats. ;D

Those "Vikings" have a little bit of Assyrian about them I think, still doesn't explain the RPG though  :o

People always forget all the other city states involved. I blame Holywood (although they do get a look in)  ;D One of my favourite films as a youngster ever since me and my dad saw it at Thornton Heath Granada. Still a favourite if I'm honest  ;)

Not sure where all those tanks are going to go though. There's barely room to swing a cat at Thermopylae nowadys let alone back then when the coastal plain was even narrower.

;D ;D ;D Guffaw!   Glorious. I get endless amusement from stuff like this.  ;D

EDIT:  I like how the reviewer gave them a 10/10 for historical accuracy.   ;D ;D ;D ;D
