IPMS Stafford, BIGGLES and Motor Museum in Miniature are altogether on an island in Hall 1 near the entrance to the show.
As Empress and Queen, I shall be sitting on a raised throne when not displaying.

You could end up being arrested for that

Gondor

Not to mention a permanent ban from SMW to go with it...

So relatively easy to find and we're near the beer/wine or the Overseas section as it's more formally known. Thanks Geoff

50 days to go

Us overseas visitors get beer !!!
How civilised

Now I have a map to track you blokes down as well.

Yeap getting the layout and list of traders and club/sigs in advance does help as it allows you to work out what your want to see and when rather than wing it on the day. Even with 2 days it takes alot to get round and see all the show at your leisure.

Certainly come by and introduce yourself as thers bound to be somebody on either of the SIG stands  ;D

When displaying what?  :o :-\

Very scary though isn't it???
Is the display behaviour of the "Greater Gloriously-embellished Radish" a bonding ritual, similar to those of the Bird of Paradise and Peacock?.................and will there be photographic evidence produced in court?
"If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you....."
It  means that you read  the instruction sheet

Radish

I have a new hat. ;)

I also have a Pink tutu, but that won't be worn at SMW. It WILL be worn this Friday at RHS in Nottingham
Once you've visited the land of the Loonies, a return is never far away.....

Only if you bring it  The Overseas Section has always been well known for it's hospitality, shall we say  Mind you we didn't do to badly last year
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Apropos of the 50th Anniversary Display itself, is anyone else displaying any models there?

Some months ago I sent a list of the stuff that I'd built in past years that they may deem to be 'significant' in some way and they've just said they'd like FIVE of them there! GULP! Needless to say, one of the them is the original PR19.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Your old mate Dork (and Mrs Dork) will be allowing access to the  wine box. Please state your preference and I will try to oblige.
Hopefully a few pints of Merlot liberally distributed will take out the advancing creep of seriousness that has encroached upon the membership in these recessionary times .
Im pink therefore Im Spam...and not allowed out without an adult

I have my only two builds to display on the stand. Not sure how they have faired in my travels so hopefully someone has a little superglue to do touch ups.

Also have one of the Carpet Monster Trophies for display or contest.  Not sure which stand it might look best on, maybe the Sci-Fi one.  Neither of the trophies have done well in competition.  Assuming it is the lack of modeling involved that brings it down but if you read the quiz, it should at least get a few laughs.

Appreciate it guys.

I have at least 1 to put on the Sci-Fi sig table and one for the CBK table and, of course, I want to see everything  so will be running around.  If I worked this right, I could have a place to sit in each hall but sure that won't work out.  Not much has on this trip.
