My car's already packed, to the EYES!

A good thing there's only Mrs_PR19 and me, there aren't any more seats left. I'm just repairing the main undercarriage of the Eagle B1 Special and the first one's gone very well  and that's all the model related stuff done.

Only the overnight bags to pack now and we'll be ready. Roll on tomorrow.

Hehehe, I already HAD the Snark, but I 'did things' to it......  ;) ;D

Comments like that are liable to get you a  record in certain areas.....
If you love, love without reservation; If you fight, fight without fear - THAT is the way of the warrior

If you go into battle knowing you will die, then you will live. If you go into battle hoping to live, then you will die

It's just as well that the Snark wasn't a Boojum........

However as you all travel towards Telford, Friday or whenever, DO watch out for the Slithy Toves Gireing and Gimbelling in the Wabe!

See you over the weekend guys,

One of the gems of English literature!

It offers the excellent advice "Beware the Jubjub Bird  and shun the Frumious Bandersnatch"

"The Hunting of the Snark" is another one to cherish.

I may be the only Air Traffic Controller to have used that term in an instruction.
A British Airways Trident about to depart from Edinburgh stated "Brillig" my reponse was " and on departure caution the slithy toves Gyreing and gimbelling in the wabe"
His response was that his captain had just fallen about laughing! He clearly did not have a classical education.

We are in Portsmouth tonight after a tour of the Victory and others.

Tomorrow we hit Bovington and the Fleet Air Museum before getting into Telford.

If I can get a decent internet connection I will get some pics up but that has been lacking on this trip.

What is the chance on getting a wifi connection at the show?

Maybe at the hotel next door? I've never checked for a signal in the Halls but I should think it's pretty unlikely, I've never heard it mentioned in previous publicity.

You are right in my old stomping ground before I emigrated to Canada Philip --- met my then future wife there as her Dad was stationed at Bovington back in the 70's.

As an aside, for some reason google news thought they had a news scoop a couple of days ago, apparently 160 sheep were stolen from near a little town called Wool, Dorset. Why is this relevant, well Wool is a couple of miles south of Bovington and if you arrive by train, this is where you would get off.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike
