I'm after an Airfix 1/72 Harrier T.10 in the UK as a base for my planned Sea Harrier FA.3 - http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,37737.0.html - along with a "broken" Sea Harrier.

Any out there?

Cheers, Paul.

I'll have to watch this, I've got a T.10 based Sea Harrier on the go too --

I'd like to see where you go on this though ---

AFAIK Italeri did a T10 too, or at least the USMC version, which is exactly the same airframe.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Heller for sure did, and it is the Airfix kit ---

Thanks for the info. I only knew about the Airfix one (been out of modelling for 40 years) and couldn't find any on the weird wild web! Will have a search fo heller and Italeri versions as well.

I've probably got one which I can let go Old Paul, while on a search for a couple of them a year or so ago, I had put out feelers everywhere and then ended up with a few more.  They do seem to be a bit scarce don't they, does it have to be the T.10 though, you can get T.2's and T.4's now

If it is the T.10 you definitely want, PM me and we can work out some details (price, addys, that sort of thing [I won't be screwing you over either, just what I paid for it and postage] BTW, I'm in Canada)

To get your creative juices flowing, I pulled out my Airfix T.10 for you to preview (not for sale/trade sorry)

Displayed next to my 1/72 Sea Harrier AEW.1 for scale.

The Airfix T.10 looks like a very nice kit, with lots of extra bits like fuel tanks, missiles, strake or gun pods, bombs,  etc. Have not built one yet.    Four nose options.

Overall shot of the sprues.  Nose options next to the red bottle.

Four nose options

Wing, with LeRX.

Many thanks, all. managed to track down a new Heller TAV-8B/T.10 from Kingkit on-line. Order placed and trepidation setting in. Last time I butchered a kit was in 1972!  :o

I think most of us have had that feeling - I still don't butcher kits that often. Found it far easier in my youth though. Mind you before others comment I'd better say that some of my out of the box builds can look butchered  :banghead:
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
