I have read that the Ta.183 influenced th design of the MiG.15. When I was a kid in the '50s I built both "MiG.19s"(Aurora marketed theirs for a while as a Yak.25). I bought the PM kit for $2.00 at a show, and decided to pay homage to a couple of golden oldies. The model is OOB with the addition of a cut-up fuel tank glued and puttied to the nose. Paint is Testors #1146 Silver and #1103 Red. The decals came from the scrap-box.

Adios, Larry.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Alle kunst ist umsunst wenn ein engel auf das zundloch brunzt!!

Sic biscuitus disintegratum!

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Nice. I also have a shabby Ta 183 from PM Models somewhere in the stash, and this is a nice idea, kind of prequel to the MiG-15? I might build mine as a VVS aircraft, too, but with different wings and tail... Hmmm.
