Guys, check this out ---

http://www.westway-aircraft-models.com/index.html

Ever wanted a big model --- I mean a BIG model.  How about a 1/25 Boeing 747 or a 1/24 Concorde ----

There are lots of 1/72 scale airliners here too.

They tell you everything you'd need to know to get one of these, except the prices...........
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Looking at comments on the internet, they're a tad pricey ---

I got onto this after chatting to Neil Gaunt (Aircraft in Miniature) about whether he had done a 1/72 VC10, he told me he didn't bother at the time because someone had already done a plastic injection kit of it.  Which of course piqued my interest because there's nothing in the PAK-20 book about an injection kit and all I can find in 1/72 scale is the Airways Vacform one.  Turns out Neil used to build models for them --- back in the 70's.

Edited what type of injection kit.

Aren't Anigrand's kits injected resin?

kitnut617

I think so but none of their stuff are airliners

I mentioned this mob back in April]I mentioned this mob back in April.  They are very pricey, well over the 150 quid mark for most of their models.

I don't see where you specified a VC10 "airliner", just VC10, which Anigrand does make.

I think you're splitting hairs, the VC10 is/was an airliner, the K2 are converted airliners as are all the other VC10 tankers  ------ and when someone talks 'injection', it usually refers to plastic kits ---
