Well she is finished, about ten minutes ago!
Photos will be posted to-morrow.
So why has it taken so long?
Simply this the problems of the Acrylic paints lifting with the masking tape, and it was Tamiya Abuke, lo-tack tape, really knocked the stuffing out of me. I just could not face any sort of model for weeks after that.
Eventually I got my act together and repaired the damaged paintwork. Then it was a coat of Klear followed by the transfers (NOT decals that term is one conjured up by a deranged mind in some strange foreign land).
Then a coat of satin varnish. For my sins it was satin varnish from Xtracrylic!
Yes, I was just a little bit terrified of the outcome, but it worked OK.
So leave it overnight and then remove the masking on the transparencies.

You have guessed it, the paint around the edges lifted with the tape.
Again a long wait before I could face it once more.
However over the last two weeks I have persevered and she is now finished, albeit with some of the last bits of paintwork still slightly sticky.
Natural light is now faiding here so the photos will get taken to-morrow.

Looking at the end product now, after all the heartache.............

I think she looks good.

Cool paintjob. It looks like a bullfrog with the camouflage  paint and the inflated throat sac.

The Jetstream AEW was a proposal that was offered to the Swedish AF and is RW actually.
The aircraft shown is the demonstrator  on it's roll-out and as such was still owned by the company and not by Sweden.

It is called a "U.K. Test Aircraft" registration, also known as a B Class registration.
G- indicates that it is UK.
The first number is the manufacturer's number, and in this case G-8- shows Handley Page, at least until they went bankrupt in 1971.
The last number is allocated by the manufacturer.

OK, Whiffworld now.
When Scottish aviation bought the design rights to the Jetstream (SAL already had G-31 for their designs), they requested that G-8 be allocated to them specifically for Jetstream development. This was approved.
When SAL was absorbed by British Aerospace it became a separate sub division of the company, BAe Jetstream (that is RW) they retained the G-8 registration.

Back to RW now, 137 was the original HP model number for the Jetstream.
137 is also the Squadron number of the local Air Cadet Squadron who had close links with SAL and it's successors. (I should know, I was a cadet Sergeant in that Sqdn.).

Lovely work Jim, I've got a bit of a fondness for the Jetstream too.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
