Was going to be Super Wellesley but went down a U-2ish path. Very fiddly, a high altitude turboprop with those lovely big Luftwaffe paddle blades:

You're not kidding!  :thumbsup:

Of all the aircraft that could be fitted with U-2 wings, the Skyraider was NOT on my list of possibilities, but it looks terrific. The bike landing gear is a stroke of genius as well, it looks too large for the U-2 set so where did it come from?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Hi Kit, glad you like her. I guessed you like the ladies with a long reach ;D. The gear struts were put together from likely parts from the spares box. The rear tyres are U-2 but the forward tyres are from an earlier Skyraider project. They just look right. Many thanks for the encouragement, all :thumbsup:. More later. Colour has altered from DE Blue to a sort of RLM65.

Almost complete. Going to leave the decals for awhile as I'm trying to source some....:







Had a lot of fun measuring, cutting and fitting the u/c doors, then those fiddly outrigger wheels. Real enjoyment ;D.
