Amazing stuff!

Where did that prop come from? The blades have a very odd shape to them.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The colour in that photo was Humbrol's duck egg blue. It's been changed to a more Germanic shade of blue now. The prop blades are from the Hobbyboss Ta 152, bought a couple for a future project and just loved the paddle blades....perfect for cutting through the air at high altitude.
Update in a while...

This one's finished now. Operating with the Ptolomeic Empire Air Force, she's on loan to and flown by a crew from Gulf Oil during the Oil War that tore through the region when the various oil companies' cold war got hot (all part of a rewrite of history I've been fiddling with) :

Wow, great concept and build.  Really like this.

Are you thinking single engine with split exhaust? or dual/paired engine(s)?

I have to say that is just an outstanding build. Very well excuited,too......

I really like that, it would make a very useful addition to the Honduras airforce builds I did. A turbo prop and a spy plane is certainly a favourite of mine. Nice one.

Suburb!

I am suddenly reminded of the Grob D-500 Egrett II: http://www.skytamer.com/1.2/2000/0186.jpg - so the plane's concept is indeed feasible.
Whatever.
