Shots of the sprues for a 1/72 D.H. 108 Swallow popped up on my FB feed this eveninghttps://www.facebook.com/mikro.mir.dnepr/photos/a.1416729748404757/4613517142059319/

Much Whiffability there!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Folks are hoping that it's not another AW.52 and a link to your build aka fight
was posted.
;D

PR19_Kit

Oh yes, I really ought to finish that one. :(

As I've said elsewhere, looking at those sprue gates I'm glad I had the resin one to build.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Swallows arrived at Hannants.

If I hadn't given the Planet resin one a couple of 20mm gun pods I could be sorely tempted, but maybe not  ;) I think my Planet one was one of my first builds to appear on here ?

Mikromir, has released in 1/72 two quite interesting kits of an obscure IJNAF fighter project, the Mitsubishi J4M "Senden" - a prop and a jet variant:

Unfortunately, they seem to be prohibitively expensive, at EUR 40,- or more...

I built the ones from Unicraft (Senden and Jet-Senden), expensive too.
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

I saw this and immediately thought of Kit.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

This would be a nice one for the logistics group build. Flying oil tanker.......
Although I think this was meant to be flown with the tank empty

I think it was meant to transport bits of the Buran space shuttle...
How to reduce carbon emissions - Tip #1 - Walk to the Bar for drinks.

zenrat

I thought a flying hotel. Three or four floors of accomodation in the tank. Maybe a bar (Ten Forward?) at the front.

Yes, that's correct. The image shows it carrying part of the Energia main stage. It was an interim solution (they had to remove parts from the Buran orbiter to get within the weight limit).

Hehehehe, magic!

It looks like a full size kitbashed scale-o-rama'd aeroplane! Lovely long wings though.

Speaking of Buran, BNA Model World sent me an email which included the news they have the Modelsvit 1/72 An-225 in stock.  A mere $AU 1033.95.
I will not be ordering one.
