I just ordered a Micro Mir HP Victor from the Ukraine. Pricey and a little basic, but I wanted one at 1/144th scale.

My only complaint here is the Vivtor doesn't have the under wing tanks. I like the look of them, and want them for my Falklands build.

Great Wall Hobby do a small scale Victor too. Has the tanks from what I can see.

Airfix rather kicked off the 'standard size box' idea in the 70s when they only made 3-4 sizes for all their range. That resulted in the box for their Banshee being able to take TWO of the kits easily!

I think I've got FOUR Magisters in the red box that they did their last reissue in...

I'd never even heard of this but, bags of whif potential! 😊. I'd hoped to build the Micro Mir Kalinin K-7 in Spanish Republican markings but,   the eye watering cost put paid to that! This will do nicely though 😂

It's also the same decal options in each box as the S&M kit. I'd be surprised if it wasn't the same.

That's it.    Knew I'd seen it before, couldn't remember where.  Explains why there's a decal sheet already available.

Not exactly cheap for it's size. Got the feeling it slots into the 'turns out nicely with a bit of effort' category.
