Beautiful model, superb finish . I still find the Komet almost unbelievable. I found Spate's book very informative as first hand experience. I think it was just the embryonic rocket and highly sensitive fuel that made it so dangerous, the design itelf was sound.

Marketing idea: Put a stick up the rear and fill it with little balls. Instant rattle for toddlers, with wings to gum/chew .

Great build. The paint looks awesome ! Really like the colour combo and the markings. The cockpit layout is nice as well....but the more I look at it, the more I imagine it with the front canopy faired over and returned to a single seater
