I've never met another modeller up here, on The Backside Of Beyond and never ever another wiffer. And in a Canadian Tire, of all places.
Whoda thunk it?

Not a lot going on here. All of our work has been at night, and the days drag on and on. I was going to start my new Tornado, but I don't want anything to get smashed on my flight home, it's a lot bigger, more detailed and fragile than you'd think !

I have been painting tho. Most of my HMS Illustrious air wing is done. And while I was at it, I figure I'd give new Harry a better look.

Picture would look more accurate if there were numbers under each face!

Heading back to Alberta on Monday. Not sure where to just as of yet, maybe back to the Mac or possibly ( hopefully lol ) Cold Lake. I guess I'd better bring my camera in case. Or I could ask the boss for a heads up.

I don't want to pack anything that will be broken once built, so I think I'll go with the small scale stuff again. I might also hit the hobby shop out there before I deploy so I can stock up on styrene for my Harrier field dio and maybe build the crane portion.

This is the mess I'm digging through looking for my stuff.....

Nothing to report here. I'm still on the road. Seems to be never ending this time.....I did bring some stuff to fondle and paint, but we've been so busy all I do is sleep and work.

When I was at YYC, we had fun & games with the Firebag flights, they were charter flights and the passengers/workers were pre-screened so they didn't have to go through security at the airport to go into the restricted area. But it meant they had to be kept away from the other passengers who had gone through security. Wasn't until a dedicated corridor was built to specific gates that the problem went away.
For those who want to know, Firebag is an airfield specifically for the plant that operates there, and only workers working at the plant are brought in an out through it.
