1/600 scale Wasps? ;D

Amazing how you can get the Wasp in 1/48 and 1/600 but we're STILL waiting for  a 1/72 version. Ridiculous.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Those Wasps are amazing, they look dangerously like Glacier Mints though to me. I wonder how many of these types of things get swallowed by small kids ?

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Haven't checked in here for some time now and i was surprised by that Twin 105... What a gorgeous beast that is turning out to be, Captain!

Long time no see ! Cold here in these parts. Back to indoors thinking 🤔 This is the makings of my Dart Boxcar. ex-RCAF examples taken out of storage from Greybull WY and converted for the RAF. In the hotted up Malvinas conflict desperate times called for imaginative modelling 😜🍻

Try cutting tiny rotors from a beer can. The aluminum is very thin but stiff. Color them with a black sharpie.

Been busy decluttering. I've tossed out loads of half built and probably never finished projects ! Sad, but much needed. More on that later.

One of my finished models, the RCAF Bear bomber, was broken apart and discarded. I'll gibe you one guess where a set of engines and the front half of each contra-prop went. I like the way this one looks so much, I think I'll keep her overall green.

Of course those big, powerful props need a little mod to the back end. I thought these fir well, and were fitting. I've always thought the Noratlas was a cheap imitation of the Boxcar, so why not go the other way ! 72nd scale bits cut down and added.

One of the projects I didn't toss, this USAF Arrow. Still had the tape on the windscreen from the spray job ! Also of note, 15+ years of dust, kitty litter and cat dander make a nice panel line wash

Here is one of my 'toys'. With an over active imagination, I like to 'fly' my aeroplanes. Of course, the take off and landing is always the best part, but once airborne, I can't fly from Argentia, NL, to the Ascension Island and onwards ! The landing gear are four removeable bits. They still need a few bits and bobs to look a little more realistic. I'm sorting out how I will install the removeable flaps before I add a few more bells and whistles to this airborne eyeball circa 1982.
