I follow my late fathers words of wisdom on them  " They said I had to wear I tie. I don't have to look at it" 
his favourite he spotted across 4 lanes of traffic at the back of a tie rack shop in Cardiff.  one minute we were walking along on the castle side, the next there's a cry of " wait here ill be back in a sec" and off he hared.  It was a utterly foul mix of colours, and shapes.  perfect in fact.
