You've got TWO of them????:o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Yes. I had originally bought the Roberts Combat Models one, and then I found out that Gene's was the original, and more accurate. Curiosity made me buy it as well. I'm planning on starting a thread comparing the two.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

That's a big challenge but i'm sure you're up to it.  Can't wait to see some cut plastic.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Monster size ! lol

I need to source out some balsa and some heavy card, and photo copy the patterns so I can start cutting. I hope to start this week. They'll be long term for sure, and a lot of work for sure, but somat to enjoy I hope !

I'll have to get mine out now Todd, mind you when I got mine I got a bunch of detail parts from Jerry Rutman too, unfortunately he's stopped doing them now. IIRC Gene had directed me to him.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Captain Canada

I've got the detail bits from Combat models, props and landing gear I think. There's a pic a few pages back. I'll start another thread today be easier to keep track of.

You could change the tail for the An-22 or something similar.

I think PETA might have something to say about that.

This sticking to finishing my Luchs dio has really made for a boring blog eh ? My thoughts have been wandering tho....I glued tog together a wee Trumpeter 350 scale Avenger. Thought I'd get away with it but it still felt like cheating lol

That got me thinking of Avengers. I love the look, sound, Naval aspect of that machine. I'm thinking of a Griffon powered version using the bits from my collection of Shackleton kits.
