By far. I enjoyed the early Clancy books but the latter one's not nearly as much and finally gave up with him

Been down in CO going on 4 weeks. Not much to report. Seen a few F-18s here and there, a few lovely Twin Otters doing their work ups. We were working up in Greeley, and I drove past the airport there to snag pics of the gate guard T-38 and A-7.

On the modelling side, I finally broke down and bought some paints, glue, a hobby knife and a wee 144th scale Trumpeter F-23 at Hobby Lobby. Gear up, with a Vietnam era F-4 scheme she will be.

And with those paints, I've also given Harry, the Road Trip Harrier, a new USMC scheme. He has been wearing RAF colours since our trip to the UK and Waddo.

And to celebrate his new scheme, we're hoping in the rental tomorrow for the journey to Yuma, Arizona, where he will finally meet some family !



I'm on call for a job in Utah, but fingers crossed that I can stay all day !

Harry, the road trip Harrier. He's been to Waddo, too many CDN and US airshows to mention, and every helo and plane I've been on since I got him in the mid 90, actually got flown by a real Harrier pilot, Cricket of VMA-214 Blacksheep !
