Captain Canada

Well, Clark, Aren't you gonna go for it ?

Decided to pull my finger out and just start gluing stuff together. Happy with the results ! I'll go through my spares box one more time and glue more bits here and there, then it'll be paint time.

A bunch more done on the engine, as well as the interior bits. Paint soon !

Looking really good! Can't wait to see that truck and trailer take shape!

Thanks ! I've found a couple more of my etchings, but not the truck I'd really like to do. We'll see once I get a few more parts sorted.

As for the Harrier, here's todays query : If the engine is out, would those lattice type frames still be there ? Or do they remove them first ? Photos seem to be conflicting. Not that it really matters in my whif world, but I'd like to do it as 'right' as possible.

If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Captain Canada

Ya that's what I'm saying.... That's one of the pics I've looked at / saved. Even with the engine out, those frames would probably be back in to support the wing. You can see the fuel tank in the pic. I might just add them as they look cool

In this pic of a Harrier under maintenance at Yuma you can see the start of the frame behind the man's head. I think lol

Those upper two pics are of a T2 or a T4, so where's that happening please? I didn't think there were any of those versions left that would have required that level of re-work.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

This FA.2 found it's way to Red Deer Alberta, my photo of it was at the Airdrie Airshow where it had been put on display for the weekend.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Captain Canada

Open up a Harrier box....and there are 4 of them in there

5 Phantoms lol

Harrier still coming along. Started on those frames I was talking about, and am beefing up the engine. I wasn't happy with the way it looked so I pretty much started it over.
