You can't argue with results.
I don't seem to recall a similar problem... maybe I've been fluking it?

The Rat

Gotta tells ya, I am LOVING this new portable airbrush. Much easier to clean for a start, just a few back bubbles with IPA and/or thinner and it's ready to go. My previous ones pretty well needed the needle pulled and scrubbed each time, and the paint residue in the cup needed attention. This cup is almost self cleaning, just a quick swirl with a cotton bud and it's shiny again. I know that sooner or later it will need stripping down, but it looks like that won't happen often. And it didn't cost much more then my other ones. Having 2 battery packs is great, only takes a few seconds to swap them. If anybody wants an airbrush that will do probably as well as a much more expensive system, but without the noise of a large compressor, you could do a lot worse than one of these. https://spraygunner.com/collections/airbrush-cordless/products/cordless-airbrush-battery-powered-compressor-with-airbrush-kit

I'm still a hairy stick user, but I am delighted to hear that you are so happy with your new device.

I'd be tempted, but I positively loathe that top paint cup. And I don't have the 80 or so notes to replace my current set up - if I did, I'm looking at getting a vac form machine instead.  Besides, I like my Badger.  Looking at the photo, it seems to screw in.  Can it take a different airbrush?

Yes, it has the ability to take various ones.

How does that work then? I can't figure it out.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Righto ..learning time 😉 😆
The way this works is in the centre you have a cutting blade ..Dave's should have 3 ..Yellow 30° fir plastic...red 45° for as Dspiae say comprehensive performance and blue 60° for paper.
You slide one of these into the spring loaded holder in the center.
The big black nob is a screw fitting ..you can move that back and forth to get the measurements ya want..anything from 0 to 25mm ..on mine anyway...you then just place it on what ya want you cut and spin the centre and away ya go .
There's a mark on the cutting arm for which direction to turn it ...takes some dicking around to get used to it but once you are circle cutting has never been easier.  ;D

NARSES2

Seen a few of these in the background of peoples in progress builds in various magazines recently.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

That sounds a lot better than the very basic one I have. That won't go down smaller than about 5 mm dia, which is pretty useless sometimes.

Mine just has one blade, but it's double-ended.

Dave that's cool ..didn't know that..I'd bet 45° at one end and 60° on the other ..maybe ..pretty sure these can be brought as spares tho .
