Fuselage decals are just about finished. Couldn't get all the yellow out of them, but I can live with that.

That's looking so VERY smart!  :thumbsup:

Thank you, gentlemen! On the KC-10, the stars and bars would be on the rear of the fuselage, and U.S. AIR FORCE on the front, but the decal was too large for that, so it had to be reversed.

Erm, on my KC-10 kit the Star Bar is on the front.

Are there two schemes?

Not sure, but the Hasegawa KC-10A instruction sheet shows the stars and bars on the #2 engine nacelle.

Wings are on, and with that comes a new commandment for model producers;

Just about there. Some paint touch-up maybe, attach the fuelling boom to the underside, maybe a clear coat. In 1/200th, she's rather small, and I don't have big hands.

Yeah, might have known. Despite, or perhaps because of, repeated coats of clear, the decals have cracked a bit. Oh well, live and learn. But despite being almost in the final stages, I've a mind to whiff it. And in these colours.

Stay tuned...
